My Refuge

I've been itching to paint something other than a character, so I just did a layout of my room! haha

It was alot more fun to work on than I thought.

The personalities of one's room really does rely on the detail.

Because details matter (:

Here are a few pictures I took on my recent trip to Portland two weeks ago. Such a beautiful city with so much moisture in the air and everywhere! L.A. needs some of this climate right now, cuz being in a drought is not the business.

Pintrest + Washi Paper

Pintrest is so awesome and sooooo useful. And its super fun to find things to draw too!

Found some old washi paper I had lying around my room, and decided to make use of it somehow for this piece.

It gives her a bit more life, I guess (:

SketchGroup!

Hooray!! I finally got the chance to do some figure drawings, WITH A LIVE MODEL!

Feels nice drawing someone who's actually posing for you after creeping & sketching some strangers in public...

Center Stage Gallery in Burbank is providing an Uninstructed Sketch Group on Wednesdays and I got lucky enough to make it today! It was soo therapeutic and I was having the time of my life. I hope I'll be able to catch more drawing classes... but more on a weekly basis. (New Resolution! added.)
