Quickie

Here's a quick painting of some dude I saw on my way to work (twice), who was waiting at a bus stop.
His orange hair was gigantic and super bright from the morning sun.
I may have over-exaggerated a little bit on my version of what this person actually looked like (ie. nose ring, underbite, skateboard), but the volume & color of his hair... pretty damn accurate.

Timeless

I recently finished a portait for Timeless for their website. It was alot of fun (and pretty tricky at times) working each of these guys to really bring out their personality, along with some funny inside jokes just for giggles :)

Also, if you love awesome graphic design AND want to wear them, be sure to support & check out their website at: www.timelessbrand.net
and grab a few shirts or sweaters for the winter season!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone ~

JohnSargentSinger Study

Hey everyone (: I'm trying to get into the habit of updating more work into my blog, which means more personal paintings for me. (practice = good)
I decided to do a study of John Sargent Singer's painting, of course haha.

It was hard deciding when to stop painting this one, so I had to force myself to stop and just move on.
So here's another post.. finally posted! *whew
Enjoy~

Hope to post more soon and stop myself from getting so rusty.

Introducing: Pip!

(doesnt this model look freaking AWESOME ?!!?! Kim Zhu is a DOPEA$$ modeler)

Here's a 3D Model teaser based on the character I designed for a fellow classmate -- Kim Zhu, 3D Generalist and also an amazing animator. We began designing Kim's character to really capture Pip's identity and high spirited personality.
The model is beginning to look so awesome already and as the semester is almost coming to an end, I'll be finished with the paint textures for Pip's face and Kim will begin working his magic modeling the rest of the accessories and begin lighting&texturing our new character!
Seriously can't wait to see the final result! :) Stay tuned~~~

Make sure to check out Kim's awesome 3D work too!
Have a great weekend  ~
