This past summer, my little sister - Katherine - has been asking me to draw on a pair of her shoes for a while so I decided to doodle on an old pair of her vans, just to see where it would go.
And suprisingly enough, I found myself having a great time doing it!
I hope to gain enough confidence to do a few more on fresh new pairs of shoes.
Figure Drawing can be so therapeutic & so much fun.
I feel so lucky to have such awesome models at Otis :)
I should work more on still-life's and studies, and take a break from the usual animation-style I'm comfortable with, and work with realism for a while...
But I can't help it ):
This is the second keyframe for my "Gypsy Musician" story, when the little boy serenades the town with the music played by the enchanted instrument.
I'm working on my third one now and got to get started on my last keyframe, before school ends in two weeks.
Wish me luck and thanks for checking it out~
Keyframe #1 for my "Gypsy Musician" story for Visual Development.
This is when the young gypsy boy discovers the enchanted instrument in the attic of a music store in town.
Starting this off was a challenge, but with the BIG help from my instructors Cecil Kim and Bob Dob, I managed to get through it... finally. *whew!
